What is this stuff?

I love silver clay!  It is a medium developed in Japan several years ago.  It consists of fine silver particles mixed with organic materials to form a clay-like substance that can be molded, shaped, coiled, etc.  It is sintered to remove the organic material, and the resulting work is .999 fine silver.  I offer these pieces for sale - they are all custom made and will vary slightly. All earrings have sterling silver wires, and pendants have sterling jump rings.  They are sold without chains.

All pieces will vary slightly.  If you order a piece, I can email a photo to you for approval when it is ready - if you are not completely happy with the design, it can be re-made.  .  However, there are no returns or refunds once an item is shipped.  Allow 3 weeks for production and shipping.

Please email me at info@greenwareceramics.com for payment and shipping information, and to find out about special orders.  I also offer one-day classes in the New York City area for groups of 3 or more students who want to explore this wonderful medium.  Email me for prices and dates.

Natural silver shell.  About 1.75" diameter.  $60.  Smaller shell (not shown) about 1.25" diameter $50.
